On The Bright Side
By Jonna Shutowick, M.S.Ed.

Jonna Shutowick retired after teaching high school history in Florida’s public high schools since 1994. She now writes historical fiction with a particular focus on the historical reclamation of overlooked women’s voices. Her current work-in-progress tells the story of Ida Alice Shourds Flagler, the forgotten second wife of Gilded Age industrialist Henry Flagler, exploring themes of power, silencing, and redemption. @aliceflaglerstory.com. @roseyshades-onthebrightside.blogspot.com/
