The Be an Animal Hero Awards at MUSE Global School will be the pinnacle of #animalherotober Presented by the Be an Animal Hero project of the 501(c)(3) global charity Animal Hero Kids Inc. and MUSE Global School, the first plant-based school in the United States co-founded by “Titanic” actress Suzy Amis Cameron, wife of Oscar-winning movie director James Cameron, and her sister, Rebecca Amis. The event will be an inspiring, empowering and educational awards ceremony featuring appearances by award recipients Maggie Baird – founder of Support Feed, and mother of Grammy award-winning singer/songwriter Billie Eilish; world-renowned primatologist and anthropologist Dr. Jane Goodall; “Friday” actress Angela Means; and the world’s youngest yoga instructor and vegan food truck entrepreneur, Tabay Atkins. Special guests include vegan rapper Free Bison, and the plant-powered superheroes featured in the “Veganza Animal Heroes Series” book I wrote. Freedom is played by vegan professional body builder Korin Sutton, Courage the mermaid is played by vegan actress and model Sky Bison, and the Veganza role is played by yours truly.
I will also be releasing two new books during AnimalHerotober: “Veganza Animal Heroes Guide to Save Animals and the Earth,” illustrated by Choice Bison and Monique Martinez; and “There’s a Cow in My Dreams,” illustrated by Monique Martinez. Their imaginative art perfectly embodies the magic of rescuing, caring and advocating for all species of animals.
The quote Paul McCartney contributed to my book “Animal Hero Kids Voices for the Voiceless” said it best: “Animal heroes rock, the good news is it doesn’t matter how old you are – we can all help animals in need.”
