“The Heart Whisperer” is a beautiful film that pulls at our heartstrings and reminds us to consider lives beyond our own. Early in the film, Ms. Hargreaves notes that “animals are just like us.” This resonates with me, as I’ve recently been spouting advice regarding our pets to “think of them as equals and go from there.” It’s hard to change lifelong habits, but like everything, it becomes more possible when we understand the WHY. Knowledge is power – we can create a world where we want to live.

The Veganza Rap music video with Free Bison, the vegan rapper, will precede the film, featuring Korin Sutton as Freedom, Sky Bison as Courage the Mermaid, and yours truly as Veganza, all plant-powered superheroes from the book series. The new book “Veganza Animal Heroes Guide to Save Animals and the Earth” illustrated by Choice the artist, is also coming out during Earth Day month.

“The Heart Whisperer” Film Synopsis
A childhood discovery inspires a woman to push the boundaries of our compassion in this true story. The esteemed “Earthlings” creator, Shaun Monson, weaves together archived news clips, never seen before arrest footage, and current interviews to tell this tale that crosses countries and decades. Cameo appearances by Joaquin Phoenix and other famous animal advocates.
The film will also be screening at the Vegan Animal Rights Conference in Manchester, United Kingdom on April 13, as I return to my birthplace in Merseyside.
