Kabootle, Our Rescue Cat

I Kitten Kabootle reached out to me and my daughter, Lynden, from a cage in a pet store. My husband and I had separated only a week before, and now Lynden and I were living single-parent-family-style in our comfortable apartment. When we met Kabootle, a tiny Himalayan, my daughter and I were feeling especially lonely and vulnerable.
