Lock your vehicle and hide all valuables, preferably in the trunk or locked compartment. Before
sunrise and after sunset, carry keys in your hand. park and walk in
well-lit areas and Look inside and under your car before entering your
vehicle.
Stay alert to your
surroundings and take a moment to glance around for possible suspicious
persons, vehicles, and/or situations.
If you like to warm your vehicle prior to heading to work, do not leave it unattended. It only takes a few seconds to jump in and be off. stating your direction of travel and a phone number to reach you and
