Pavilion Grille

Get That Glorious Feeling with Great Cuisine, Music and Dancing

By Arnold Leir
As a wise man once said:

life may not always be the party we hoped for, but while we are here we should dance. Even though you haven’t danced in a while, don’t fret, because dancing with the feet is one thing, but dancing with the heart is something else. So you’re not Emma Stone or Ryan Gosling (or Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers) - who cares? No matter when you danced last (a month, a year ago), you don’t stop dancing because your style may not be up to par - your style may not be up to par because you stopped dancing. For all your happy memories, Boca Raton’s Pavilion Grille is where you want to be.

When you give your feet a rest, take a look at the fantastic Pavilion menu. From the starters, try the Seared Ahi Tuna: a superb opener featuring a magnificent filet, grilled rare and supremely flavorful. The Sonoma Salad is fantasy of mixed greens, craisins, pecans, gorgonzola, Granny Smith apples and luscious raspberry vinaigrette.

If you haven’t stopped at the very popular bar for refreshments, then you should take a moment to look over the impressive wine list featuring vintages from across the globe. My partner is very fond of the Ruffin Pinot Grigio. Kona Brewing’s Castaway IPA made its way into my glass. Very reasonably priced wine list.

Our table was set in the atrium with a clear view of the awesome space rising several stories. Small granular bulbs cast a shimmering light over the dance floor. Since the music rarely pauses and service is absolutely perfect, there is every opportunity to take a few twirls between courses which arrive always at the peak of flavor.

Sandwiches are available for those who want a light bite, but why not go all the way and order some of the exciting entrees. Chicken Marsala is ever so suave with its haunting wine tinged sauce energizing a fork tender filet. Or your partner may want the Plank Atlantic Salmon with its aromatic citrus finish (we had it served rareyum!!) Each selection comes with a choice of two superlative sides.

At this point you may wish to do a few more dances and then come back for a finale of the faultless Black and White Chocolate Mousse Cake and/or the uplifting Raspberry Sorbet. If you waiter is Stephen, ask him to make you a frothy cappuccino - he does everything so well.

The 60 seat Grille room is also available for your private lunches, Birthday or Anniversary parties, rehearsal dinners and corporate meetings. The indoor Atrium is the perfect place for Weddings, Bar and Bat Mitzvahs and Corporate Fundraisers, Happy Hours or special events.

On a few occasions, the Pavilion Grille is closed for celebrations or corporate events, so check the website for a calendar of events listing all the activities for the month. Lunch is available Tuesday thru Friday as is Happy Hour (from 4 to 7 pm) with specially priced drinks and Bar Menu. For more information, log onto http://paviliongrille.com.
