Bring the whole family for this adventure that begins in the Museum with an informative hands-on session about turtles and continues on the beach where your expert guides will lead you to the nesting grounds. Watching a 400-pound Loggerhead sea turtle venture out of the ocean to lay her eggs is a natural wonder that your family will never forget. Be prepared to walk one or two miles. This free summer concert series features the world famous Low Tides – a five piece band known for being the beach party band playing music from the 60’s & 70’s on July 9. Then on July 23 listen to The Smugglin’ Yo Yo’s play songs spanning the 70s, 80s and today to include Reggae, Pop and Rock ‘n Roll.
